I wonder is M&S do this on purpose each year the get £1000's and load off their old tat no one will buy in the dusty corner if the wharehouse

If they do send something stupid, wouldn't there be a (legally) better chance of getting the chair?
That would mean they went through with the order, instead of cancelling, and it's clearly for a recliner. The View Belongs To Everyone0 -

I don't think their allowed to.
You have only authorised them to take £2.00 from your account0 -

legally we don't have foot to stand on they always specify in t&c's about orders I'm not holding out any hope of actually receiving this but for a quid it's worth a punt kind of like the lottery I know I have no hope of winning but still regularly hand over my pound coin :rotfl:MSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy

That's the way I'm looking at it. It's worth a go for £1. I won't be going through any trouble of trying to get it if they cancel or send something else.
I was just wondering if they accept the order, take payment and deliver something, they've formed the contract. Do the Ts&Cs only cover mis-prices up until delivery?
Anyway, I was pleasantry surprised with the lack of legal talk so I'll leave it there...The View Belongs To Everyone0 -

didn't the ones in january say the actual item but had a different picture? because if that was the case this glitch is totally different as it was actually showing the photo of the recliner on the duck egg one last night & no pictures on the other 2I remember reading that one of the glitches in January showed a picture of a go-cart: recipients got an anniversary card - including those who ordered on the phone!
Fingers crossed everyone. Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0 -
