Can you imagine if they manufacture thousands of chairs then realise the mistake and cancel the orders, anyone really keen for one should find them in the outlet stores for a couple of hundred pounds :rotfl:

I've joined in and ordered but on the absolute understanding that we won't get a chair - it's just a bit of a giggle to see what we end up with.
Last year I got a glass vase and coat hook from a similar 'chair and footstool' glitch. At that time we all knew it was an error, we all knew we wouldn't get furniture and yet some people were still getting shirty and threatening M&S with legal action!
Chill out, enjoy the fun and if you really want furniture, you better start looking elsewhere or better still, just wait for Xmas Day and M&S sale!
