This glitch is not going to happen. It's been active all day, 10,739 people have looked at it and 10,736 have probably ordered a pair. How many recliner chairs is it likely M&S had in stock ... could it have been 21,472?

Somehow, I think not.

So guess my lack of a confirmation e-mail doesn't matter that much!

I ordered using m&s one click 100% not a phishing site and it's an insult to claire to suggest she'd link to one !!

I ordered two duck egg blue and one leather and got a confirmation mail. Then went back and ordered another leather but haven't got a mail for that.
I know we probably won't get them but I'd love to be able to give a couple to my nephew for his new house.
I thought there was a law that said you had to be sold something for the price that was shown, even if it's a mistake...or is that only in shops?

Utter nonsense unfortunately.

The price shown is an 'invitation to treat', the shop does not have to sell it at that price.

I've ordered a couple & have had my order confirmation through by email.
My guess is given that the fabrics/colours that are £1 are no longer available for general purchase under the abbey recliner main page - maybe they could just be clearing old stock???
I used to live near M&S's sofa manufacture's & their warehouse is huge & they often did 1day/weekend clearance sales. Granted not at £1 though!! :rotfl::rotfl:
