Just out of interest, has anyone had dispatch emails yet? I am just wondering how quickly they are working at the minute, I placed an order on Sunday and I haven't heard anything.

I must have tried to add at least 10 items to my besket non of which are in stock. I'm going to take a trip into town and see what they have instore!

I also placed an order on Sunday having nearly given up after spending hours on the website at different times of the day. It has to be one of the worst sites of it's type. So slow, wouldn't display the largest number of items on a page, often couldn't move onto the next screen and then to crown it all whole site crashed several times including just as I started to check out.

I've only had one email - sent Tuesday lunchtime telling me 1 of the 3 items has been dispatched. The other 2 items showes as "being processed". The courier link for the 1 dispatch item hasn't been updated since last night when it was in the hub.

Tonight I rang them to check on the other 2 items to be told they were despatched by Royal Mail on Monday and they could take up to 10 days! When I asked why I've not received updated emails they said they didn't usually send emails when sending by Royal Mail! When I queried why the website was quoting delivery within 4 working days he referred me to the T & C's. Apparently somewhere in the smal print it states delivery time starts from when an item is dispatched not from when you order. I also ordered from several other retailers in the past few days - all with better and faster websites, better communication with customers and better delivery. I don' t think I will risk Debenhams again in a hurry.

my items from debenhams are always delivered by courier and hes very quick
