Oh dear people - everyone must be off Christmas shopping. It's halfway through the month and we haven't even hit £5,000 yet

I guess it's going to be quiet this month and next, but hopefully we can still improve on that :)

  • Well I'd better update then and add a few quid to the total!!

    £2790/£3435

Which means that if I wasn't such a spendthrift I'd only have £645 left to clear which would be a heckuva lot easier to do by Dec 31st than £1600! Bloody me :rotfl:

  • Hi another £18.51 paid for me.

Really want to make sure no Xmas gifts go on any cards.

Good luck everyone for the rest of November

The only thing about it is that it's not as immediate as 'pay off as much as you can'. DO you think people would understand it in the same way?
  • Hi - I have managed to pay my dd to my car loan and also 2 payments to my mortgage since I last updated.

I have not done both the overpayments this month but since I havent updated for a while, both can be included in this months total.

Total overpayments to add on are £3,656 bringing my total to £13,251/£14,798.

There are several reasons why hopefully I can continue to overpay:-

    1) Our twins are no longer on formulated milk and hopefully soon nappies will be gone which saves us a fortune.
    2) The loan which I was paying finished earlier this year so £310 per month no longer going out.
    3) My OH is back working, I work 8-5.30 and she starts at 6pm to 1am. This is hard work but we will see how it goes. It brings in an extra £600/mth with no childcare costs which is always good
    Year 2019 (1,700/£17000mortgage repayment)Overall mortgage (71,400/165568) (44
    .1%) (42/100) payments made. Total paid 2019 year £1,700

    Total paid 2017 year £15,300Total paid 2018 year £13,600
