Jwil, just realized that you haven't updated my total last month therefore ignore previous numbers.

Correct number is (sod it, called Tesco and paid 250 today)

    Hi All
I have paid the final £1161 towards the CC and have now reached my target for this year:j:j:j. There will still be a wee bit of interest to pay next month on the CC but it won't be much.

Thanks to all on this challenge for the inspiration to get this done this year.
I will keep following the challenge and look forward to tackling my next target in 2012.

    Well done Allie :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

    Well done Allie23 :T:j Fabulous!!

And Kavics - you look really close too - that must feel good.

We have had redundancies at work and I am now on a 4 day week so will need to re-assess everything again but obviously still want to keep getting at this debt. Have made a few more overpayments and now my balance is :

    £5,336/£10,206

Due some small payments from Quidco and Mysurvey so hopefully will get some more knocked off before the end of the month.

Happy Friday everyone and I hope you all have a good weekend. :p

  • Hi - managed to do another mortgage payment of £1,700. I hadnt done an overpayment to the mortgage since march. It now stands at <160K. Still seems alot and the overpayments dont seem to do very much.

Total paid this year is now £9,339.

Have also managed to swap my credit card to another 0% deal for a further 9 months. The credit card is now tesco and mbna. Will update signature when i have worked out exactly what I have done and how much the charges for doing so are.
    Year 2019 (1,700/£17000mortgage repayment)Overall mortgage (71,400/165568) (44
    .1%) (42/100) payments made. Total paid 2019 year £1,700

    Total paid 2017 year £15,300Total paid 2018 year £13,600
