ERgh. Thanks for that heads up 166 million! If I can make it to 8 grand this year I think I'll be very happy. We want to do a short trip to Lapland at Christmas to surprise DS; costly but only a small window that he'll believe in FC so needs to be done... no summer holiday this year to make up for it. Am saving the money in advance so we don't put any on cards.... proper old style! THis is how we did our summer holiday last year and it felt really good not to have it hanging over us to pay off once we came back.0

thats £383.23 paid off on Cap one leaving the balance a big fat ZERO!!!!!!!!

no doubt will need to pay a couple of quid in interest next year but its no longer hundreds per month going out woop woop lol

Loan payment came out today, so total paid now £8326.94/£9k.HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69
Lloyds Credit Card: £1418.62, Very Account: £518.99, Barclaycard: £126

Hi all!
Sorry I've been MIA but we've been enjoying our first holiday in 3+ years! It was fabulous. Now I have post-holiday blues!
The great, wonderful, MARVELLOUS news is that as of the 3rd (when we got back and I could make the final payment) I am DEBT FREE! :j
For the purposes of this challenge I am now £8283/£8283. God that feels good to write!
Well done everyone for the totals and August's sum. Keep on plugging at it. Massive thanks to you all for helping me get here!
