    Hi everyone

I've paid the usual £565 off the debts this month - will update signature too.

I almost reduced the outstanding amount by £1300+ yesterday, as I went into the bank to change my name and address on an old account where I still owe the overdraft amount. However, the woman in the bank couldn't find my account and said she thought it had been closed! Suits me just fine, but then she asked if I knew how much I owed and when I said £1300 she miraculously found the account within seconds. Pah!

have a good weekend everyone - well what's left of it anyway.

  • Hi All
I have sold some book and made £520. I am going to use this money to pay back some of what I owe my wee business so it won't take anything off the final total but i still a step in the right direction.

Well done to all on the OPs.

Thanks for the updates everyone, I've paid £64 today which makes my number of payments made 4/10. All my normal payments have gone out now, so I need to make 6 more overpayments to reach my target.

    "172. Laze - £495.70/£5000"

    Update...

    £650.70/£5000

Due to £330 for two tyres and a trip to London at the end of this month, I had to make some strategic payments and pay off the cards. Got an offer from card 5 of 0% balance transfer too, so Card 2 will be going onto that end of this month:

    Card 1: £0
    Card 2: £1750
    Card 3: £950
    Card 4: £1745
    Card 5: £0

Behind schedule, but am planning a massive injection by the middle of August.

    Card 2: £1800 (0% ending end of August 2011)
    Card 3: £1000 (0% ending end of October 2011)
    Card 4: £1800 (0% ending end of January 2012)
    Card 5: [STRIKE]£195.70[/STRIKE] £0
Car: £19k @ £350 per month for 58 months, 2 other months at different costs for start and end payments (6 now done).

I just paid the one card off and the other one which had no special deals but I was using for a back up in case my bank balance went crap (over budgeting as usual).

With my sheet in place, I now can work on the other 2 cards. All I need to do is balance transfer Card 2 and then pay £250 per month on Card 3 until October, and the same with Card 4 (except can pay £500 per month when Card 2 is paid off).

This leaves my car and what I really need help on. I'll be posting another post for that. But please add me to this list. £5000 before Christmas (including the £495.70 I just managed to pay off!!)
