I got paid today but can't pay anything off yet. We're going to the states next month so I need to save my money. Very frustrating! I might round my total up to £2k just to make me feel better... will see how the rest of the week goes.

It's funny how we get frustrated by paying for even nice things :D
Actually I don't know if going to the states constitutes a nice thing, but you know what I mean!
  • Hi All. Well done on all the payments.
I am paying another £10 over to my credit card - takes the balance to £479. Would like to pay more but have OH's Car Insurance to pay at £370:eek: and just had a gas & electic bill in so have to pay £68.34 for that.

I love this board. Thanks for all the inspiring stories.:T

I'm here too, waiting for payday. Counting the pennies though how much I can afford to pay as an extra this month-not a good month in this household...
  • Thanks for the updates everyone. It's very quiet in here, where are you all?

At work my end, feeling the burn of 4 x 05:00am wake ups after a couple of weeks off! I'm flagging already and it's 20:30!!

Not technically a "pay-off" yet but put £50 across to the "loan overpayment" account today - it's such a hassle to overpay that I only do it once a month, so that can sit there until payday on the 25th when it shall be joined by a whopping £800 overpayment, things going well. That's thanks to working my a** off last month, doing 73hrs of overtime and averaging a 66hr working week the whole month. Can't say I've done the same this month - done 24hrs of overtime so far with another 24hrs booked for next week.
