Thats fair enough but this was asking for views from the grabbit forum and would have been better served left there for a few hours at least.
Meanwhile as others will vouch, non grabbit posts just get left a great deal of the time, as stated, when does Boots this that and the other start, all untouched.

The funny thing is, most people arent bothered about the chat or some of the posts that arent grabbits, but those that only patrol and post when its not a grabbit are just bumping the threads up so basically being no better than the OP in the first place.0

Threads get moved to this board so that members of the MSE Team will read the thread, this is what BGs are asked to do. The MSE team are the people who will consider the idea and make any decision.
As it happens I suggested a sub-board for Grabbit with this very reason in mind two/three weeks ago and reported this thread when it was first posted to draw it to the teams attention. Complaining about other threads won't help whereas constructive suggestions may well help

A lot of Boots thread are discussions about upcoming offers or when sales etc are to start, so a grabbit chat has got to be a good place for that, but it could end up being a place where grabbits are posted instead of or as well as. Nothing is going to work perfectly or please all of the people all of the time.0
