    OMG. Just reminded me. There was a young lady called Miss Ellis with the name, she was LOVELY. I think she left the job and went elsewhere. Is that where she went? The PROOFREADING TEAM? LOL. She definitely has changed if it is her.

  • Hmm, just did a cat shop and noticed on the side of the epos screen were all the instructions for what to do with mystery shoppers. Is this normal?

    For example:
    Refund:

    Ask for reason
    Open box
    Offer alternative
    Smile

    Ask for card
    Ask for address
    Smile
    Thanks
    Goodbye

    Worries me that this might only be done for mystery shoppers. Also, it wasn't there last time I went to this shop so is it only put there when mystery shoppers are expected?

    Hey guys, question regarding a RE coffee shop.

    I was to count the range which at the time of entering should've been 11 items in the fridges and 4 in the baked goods.

    When I entered the shop there were waaaayyy more than 11 items but there was one space that was empty. Do I pick:
    a) There was a full range
    or
    b) There was one item missing?

    It could be part of enforced training off the back of one of the recent reports?

    We had something similar at my old job after a horrendous MS report (I wasn't working!)

    Dont worry that shop gets MS 3-4 times per month by 2 different companies... maybe they should have that tattoed to them because they still F*** up!
  • Quite a few of the CAT jobs that i've done have something similar at the till and they are all printed slightly differently, as Jen says they still screw it up though.

    As for the 'How did this make you feel' question from RE I always respond with a one word answer and have only been re-queried once (and I sent the same thing back again and it was then accepted). I recommend replying using the word - NEUTRAL.
  • I see the merger between the ESA travel agent and the GAP travel agent has been delayed. Todays quiz question is.

    -Which one will have the lower fee by the time they merge?

    Scary to think that the ESA fee was nearly double the GAP one 6 months ago. In the race to the bottom ESA could very well beat RE at the rate its going, there are 43 jobs more on the website that there was this morning. It would appear someone else isn't keen on making omelette at a loss. Long may it continue.
  • I just had a major panic, switched on my laptop to input a gyp convenience store and the mouse was dead - buttons, touch pad all of it. Did safe mode, did system restore, searched through help but nada. Spent ages on it.

    Eventually managed to get online using the keyboard buttons and searched google for the problem, and there's a little button right next to the on/off button to switch the touch pad on and off :o.

    WHY would you even make one of those? I really don't see the point of it other than to torment me when i've got a deadline!
