I heard on the grapevine tonight that React has lost the coffee client.:(

Let's hope that it doesn't go to RE.

Well if they do go then maybe i'll stand a better chance of getting one, rubbish fee maybe but better that than an 'unfortunately you have been unsucessful this time, try again' email.:)

Poor React if that's the case. Another big client lost and they haven't got many left.

If it has gone, I hope its gone to Aba-i.

Oh I hope you're right Jen. React really are the decent guys of the ms world, it would be such a shame if they lost this client to someone like RE.

I Agree, but you never know in this world. Could be that they have lost them in the last few days!! I have heard that RE are going in iron fists lately under cutting a lot of people...

And shoppers PLEASE dont disclose your fees to allocators no matter how buddy buddy you think they are with you-- This is one of the tatics *no names mentioned* companies use to get quotes together.

Absolutely! It would be seriously bad practice to do this anyway.

Mind you, in the overall scheme of things, the shopper fee is only a miniscule proportion of the fee per job charged to a client by an agency. I have heard said that RE's MS charges are not that much lower than those of other agencies, if at all. RE's overheads must be pretty high though, with all the reshops, etc., plus glossy reports. Heaven knows how much their IT system has cost them over the last couple of years!

But, if all their shopper fees are £x lower than the going rate, that is an additional £x multiplied by thousands that either offsets costs or goes into the profit coffers.

Agreed you would think its bad practice but I know shoppers do this and they think the company is then going to put them in their good books... meanwhile its not going to happen!

If it's true, the coffee client is stupid! Mind you, they might have taken a leaf out of TNS coffee client and just scrapped it? Mind you, the said coffee client is one of the top chains around so they might not actually need ms'ing. Such a shame if it is true. I loved doing them. They were my favourites!

SERVICE SCAN lost a few of it's high end clients to the secret eating company who have reduced the reimbursement a bit!

It's snowing again in Yorkshire. Eeeeek! Thank fcuk I ain't got any shops until next weekend.
