I think the problem with that is that people would probably want to keep their identity secret (for obvious reasons). But it would be nice!0 -

Sure she's mentioned it before If i recall.
Some companies will arrange for an escort to meet you to take you airside. They'll wait nearby until you've completed the shop and then escort you back landside.0 -

She'll be waiting till this gets to the trigger point and be just waiting with the new thread all set up ready to go.
Jeez, grow up.0 -

I did a soft drinks audit and we were told the drinks were in the landside shop, but when I got to the airport, the staff told me they were in the airside shop only!
I had to go to a security desk with a staff member from the shop and get a temporary airside pass. Luckily I had my photo driving licence and company ID with me. Then I had to queue up with everyone going on flights and go through security. I was scanned and my briefcase was searched and anything sharp or liquid would have been taken from me. (Pre-warned by staff member and left my scissors and stuff in their landside shop!)
Did the audit in the airside shop. The staff member was hovering as she had to watch me at all times. Then she escorted me back through baggage reclaim and back into departures where I collected my stuff from the shop and took my pass back to security.
It was a right hassle and I wouldn't do it again for just the one shop, but it might be worth it if you had several to do.Here I go again on my own....0 -
Regarding the discussion about the Alerts Thread, I understand that sometimes duplicate alerts can be posted at the same time by different posters. However, I do find it annoying that some posters obviously do not pay attention to the Alerts Thread and keep posting "Sandwiches" or "Banks", "Sandwiches" or "Banks", when they have already been posted that day. To be honest though, it seems that some companies release jobs in certain parts of the country at different times than others, which could influence when people post alerts on the thread.0

Hi
Not posted on here before, I am a member of Retail Eyes and have done quite a few assignments, but none since christmas because every time I log on there are no assignments. Find this really strange because this was the site I used the most and can't understand why there has been no assignments since Chistmas, I live in the North-East is anyone else having this problem.:(0 -

I live in the North East too - I'm not seeing as many jobs as others in different parts of the country. I've had a few jobs over the last week though - I think it's just a case of checking the website as often as you can.0 -
Jeez, grow up.
Ah - nice contribution to the debate.
You have to admit Monkey that the hysteria from some over alerts they have seen is bordering on ridiculous. Annoying yes but any need for the hysteria on here regarding ones they may have seen? No.
People are merely trying to help out by passing jobs on and to be fair when an upload happens and it's fastest finger first they are just trying to get the alert out asap.(DFW Long Haul # 240 )0 -

I am in Northern Ireland and it's the same situation. I log in a few times a day and in the past week there has been a grand total of maybe 7-8 jobs.0 -

That'll be the hysteria that you (in the main) appear to have caused?
As I said my my post on the alerts thread, it's great that people post jobs, but what's the problem with taking an extra 30 seconds to scroll up the page/check the previous page to see if the alert has already been posted within the last couple of days? Anyone that can't be bothered to do that probably shouldn't be MSing in my opinion.
Still, if people continue to post duplicate alerts, I'm sure we can continue to mark them as spam...0
