Sorry, don't know if anyone replied to this the first time-

RetailMaxim are phoning me for a phone report tomorrow morning.
If I couldn't get the name of the assistant but do have a description will it matter?

I work at the airport and occasionally take one to have my breakfast/lunch. The reports are really easy so I don't mind doing them now and again.

    Here's the answer :D
Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed. ;)

If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

  • You seem to be the only one complaining that we are complaining. You obviously have nothing better to do than be sat in front of your computer with the screen open hitting refresh.

For me and many others, we will be out and about, maybe even driving - an email comes in (and I see it 'cos I have my phone in a holder on the dashboard) so I have to find somewhere to stop, so I can safely log on - in some areas with poor signal this can take ages - and then to see a duplicate alert is very, very frustrating and time consuming.

So THATS why we ask people to take a mere from their lives to CHECK they aren't posting a duplicate post.

And that's the toned down version?

Who are you exactly to make assumptions about what people do? I hate to break it to you, but you are not the busiest person alive, and your time is no more precious than anyone else's. It's an open forum, if people post things that irritate you (with the best of intentions I hasten to add) then that is tough.

This thread is very useful, and most of the people appear to be lovely, but it's a shame someone who doesn't take themselves quite as seriously as you appear to doesn't 'run' this thread.

I applied about 9 days ago and received 3 of the same type of travel ones all at once, a few days later. Had to be in today.

Also, I had been queueing around christmastime for ages for several supermarket online shops and received nothing.

    Anyone know the allocation criteria?

I've been waiting to do one since I was first approached about them in the summer of 2009!!! Keep being told I'll be put on the next wave but still waiting .... must email them again to remind them I'm still about!

Except that the OP of the alerts thread makes it clear what is and isn't acceptable in that thread - it may be an open forum but it is bad etiquette to go against what the overwhelming majority are using a thread for. Surely it's just common sense to check back over the past 9 or 10 posts to make sure you're not duplicating an alert? It's what I always do, and it takes all of 20 seconds. After all, you're only providing people with help in the alerts thread if you're posting new information.

    I wouldn`t worry TG...they are boring, boring, boring ;)

Edig are crap for answering emails. I sent one in Friday morning saying can you please take some back as i've been ill and i'm away for the weekend (6 in total).

Still there, so watch out for those when somebody eventually reads the message.

Honey, your favourite shops are back on BARE! Go get them.
  • I've got one of these to do either today or tomorrow and my scenario is 'stock enquiry'. Can I ask for any phones and see if they were in stock?
