Nah!---blazzen, wears the T.shirt and has a loud hailer :rotfl:

No, I carry my Gyp-branded toy mobile phone, prominently, at all times (nothing else). It has served me well in zero jobs so far, and I have no reason to suppose that this situation will change.

I am probably better "under cover" than most. Get to my age! I am invisible. I am no threat to anyone. I am no attraction to anyone.

The MD of company I work for has actually told me that I produce the best reports he has ever seen. This is, of course, because I am invisble. No one notices me doing what I am doing. I am skulking around corners with these wonderful gadgets (my own eyes and ears) and state-of-the-art recorders (a crossword, a notelet - don't ask -, and sometimes texting on my geriatrics's mobile).

Don't knock it! When you're my age you can get away with it!

I'm a bit confused by the wording of an RE travel agent job. It says

"it is essential you wait 5 days for a response from the Sales Consultant before you submit your report"

Does this mean I should wait 5 days to enter results even if I am contacted the same day by the agent, or is it that you need to give them 5 days to respond and you enter results once they have contacted you? the way it's worded is not clear!

It means that you have to complete the first part of the report (about the actual visit and anything else you can fill in before getting the call back) within the normal timeframe (24 hours for RE), then save and fill in the rest of the report once you've had the call-back (as soon as possible). If you don't get a call-back after 5 days then you should finish the report saying you didn't get one (as soon as the 5 days have passed).

Wow I've never seen this thread so busy on a weekend.

Did my first ever jewellery audits for React which went well (I think) and I hope I've done them right. I might do more of them if the reports get accepted as I like having everything in front of me instead of acting like I don't know anything when carrying out covert assignments!

On a different note, I'm totally enjoying Match of the Day at the moment while typing reports!

I hate football, but I also have MOTD on in the background whilst I complete my reports for the day! 1/5 complete. I'm gunna do the other 4 in the morning.

Fairly busy weekend. 4 GR jobs (love them), 1 First tracking, 6 crisp photos. Also off for a free screening at the cinema in the morning. Managed to sort my nephew out with a christening present and a card via my MS this morning hehe.

Well I've now inputted all 6 of my reports so I'm relieved. I feel like I could drink a nice cup of coffee but don't know if I should.

Just applied to another mystery shopping company... their application form required two references. It's the first application where I've seen references wanted!
Are they going to actually phone them up?

Lil_me - can you let me into a secret and tell me what the crisps jobs are? I have been MSing for two years now and still have no idea.
  • I've been accepted for TMDC!! And when I'e checked the list there are 2 hotel visits really close to me. Does anyone know if they're open at the weekend, or should I wait until tomorrow morning to call them?
  • And I just did the pizza report for RE. Phew!!

Phone shop for GfK tomorrow...better read through the brief!
