Really surprised that the car hasn't been keyed yet! What a prat.
I got bored after 15 mins and switched channels. Its all pretty much the same and I'm learning NOTHING from it. The "who gets the best jobs" programme was much more informative and will help me with my childrens future.

You can download BBC iplayer on the wii, so I can watch the jobs programme on the TV.

4od (ie watching Mary Portas) means watching on the laptop.

So I chose to watch Portas and do catch up on the jobs programme.

I never knew you could get iplayer on the wii til we got a wii at Cmas, and have been loving it muchly.

Yes it is good, you can watch 4od and itv player on the PS3 now, but then again the playstation can pretty much do everything.

  • I have done a 6 of the GR travel agents visits this year. The first one was hell - sheer hell and I was in there an hour and was also struggling to remember my imaginary kids names and ages. If the second visit wasn't planned for the same day as the first I would have binned it.

However on the second visit I gave it a bit more thought before going in and was out again with 2 quotes in under 30 mins.

A few tips I have found help are

-Say you prefer daytime flights and would prefer to fly out at the start of the week/weekend due to the way your work does the rota (check online to see where the flights are going on your preferred days of the week) - this will narrow down their options.
-Have a look to see what resorts are near those airports
-Let the advisor mention 2 resorts, then on the second one say 'Oh, i've never been there, whats it like etc and get into a conversation about it then say yeah that sounds just what i'm looking for'.
-Accept every add-on going it's quicker than refusing and having them explain the benefits.
-When trying to get out the branch, explain that your wife/husband/partner etc works in the bank nearby and that you wish to pop along and discuss it and will be back to book once he/she gives it the nod

Might not help for everyone, but I have found this helps.

    Hi
As some of you may know I am a fairly new newbie - 3 months and 80 assignments in roughly... and I have some questions.
Which company does the department stores (especially ones that also have food stores)?
Which company does the supermarkets? (I know one but not seen the others).
Which company does the nicer chain of restaurants?
Why is Gyp such pure evil?
How do people find doing the car show room jobs? (hard work hey...)
Sorry for so many questions - just noticed February seems a little quiet and we having done the car showrooms to death I was hoping for some more inspiration? Currently with RE, GR, Helion, Gyp, Gfk, TNS, AmberArch, Catalyst, React. Any other recommendations? (oh just applied for Maxim).
............... Have you ever wondered what
¦OO¬¬ O[]¦ Martin would look like
    ¦ _______ ¦ In a washing machine
