Re: the GR travel agents. I went in with an open mind as I think they get assessed on various things, so saying I am getting a lift from my Dad would make them miss certain things they need to mention. This was the first time I have done a travel shop, and it definitely will be the last one too. Never again. She mentioned about 4 different packages/quotes by which time I had forgotten how old my imaginary kids were and what sex they were. Thought it would be an easy one as it was opposite where I work. Didn't think I would be there for so long.

What are people making of Retail Maxim? Gosh, they are giving me jobs on a daily basis. Result or what! Woohoo.

Have yet to do a job for Retail Maxim. They never offer me anything. Not sure how the other Suffolk folk fare?

With the travel ones the only thing I can think of to make it quicker if you have the brief X amount where would they recommend is that when they ask your preferences, say that you want it very hot but that you have a smaller budget,or that you don't want to go long haul this way they will be immediately resticted to one or two destinations.

Retail Maxim have been good to me, I signed up about 2 weeks ago and have done 3 jobs for them now. I can't get over how little detail they ask for, the reports are a breeze.

Arrgghh, am having a right week of it, I think I am going senile. For an RE station job (shop) do you think I'll get away with buying a bottle of drink and a chocolate bar, or should I have risked salmonella/ heartburn with a sandwich/ coffee to get the reimbursement and fee? The sandwiches available were only the pre packed sort so I don't see what the upsell could have been as it didn't do meal deals?

They're fairly short reports. Either stick the report in and see what they say or do it again.

If you'd got a sandwich they could have offered cake, crisps, coffee, drinks etc. Same if you'd got the drink they could have suggested something to eat. Did you select one item and then wait for a suggestion of something else to purchase before getting your second item?

As long as you only bought one item and waited for an upsell you'll be fine. I once bought 2 muffins and waited for the upsell and they questioned it and told me I should have only ordered one as if it makes much difference :wall:

UUUGHHH why do I take airport assignments on lol... in my hotel in London awaiting my lovely flight tomorrow looking forward to it!!
