Did a travel agent for GR today. What a pallarva. She had me in there for almost an hour and I was beginning to nod off. Not worth it. Won't be doing one of them ever again.
  • I've got one of them tomorrow - hopefully it won't take that long!

I think Post 2 deserves a psychology study all of it's own, there's something about it that prevents newbies ( including myself) from reading it properly, very iffy is you ask me:rotfl:

You wait 'til you have to muddle your way through a RE report/brief/proofreading ticket, then you'll know the TRUE meaning of iffy!:rotfl:

No weekend sarnies for me on RE, the job count is really not right though as it says there are loads of food to gos for me but when I click to see all I can see is hundreds of blinkin pubs. When will this nightmare end...

Or figuring out what bits of the shop to visit for the blue supermarket shop!!
  • Well, if they can't read instructions properly IS MS really the job for them??
Sorry to sound stroppy, but everything you need to know is on this site, but you need to search, look and READ, instead of expecting other people to do everything and spoon feed you.
I'm quite happy to answer questions, or give clarification and/or advice/suggestions, as are we all, but you DO need certain skills to be a decent MSer, and that includes using initiative and reading instructions properly and thoroughly.
    Totally agree

:Whispers: Look at post 3 on this thread, there is a step by step guide to sorting out your paperwork!!!

If the brief allows, travel agents are much quicker if you can say "some friends went to ......... and stopped at ........... and had a really good time. We were wondering about going there." I also say I can only fly from my nearest airport as my Dad will give us a lift there and back to save parking or taxi fees. Cuts down a lot of time ;)
Here I go again on my own....

Sent my details to OB Services and I've just received an a reply asking for me to send a photo and a signed Disclaimer.

I know I've got my photo on Helion's page but I trust Helion and I don't know much about OBS...tet. Anyone actually completed an assignment for them?

That's a little unfair on the agent then, as you're then unable to score them for asking whether you needed car parking and/or an airport hotel.
