I'm looking to get some new headlights for my car
I know I need H1 bulbs.
I want them as bright and shine as far as I can possibly get while still being legal
Anyone know of any?
I've put some OSRAM Nightbreakers in my old car but they didnt seem to do much - possibly to do with the wreck of a car I put them in :rotfl:
Any advice would be great

I was going to recommend OSRAM Night Breakers. The combined H4's in my Mk.6 Fiesta were good, but the H7 dipped/H1 mains in a lady friend's Mk.2 Focus were amazing. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

It's the H1 & H7 combo I would need on my Golf
Does your friend have the Night Breakers on hers?0 -
Some people have problems with Nightbreakers not lasting.
I'm using Nightbreaker Plus and haven't had any issues.0 -

If I get NB's I'll defs be going for the Plus issue
Found both H1s & H7s on eBay with delivery for £31....0 -
I have H7/H1 on mine, and the light level is fantastic- certainly much better than the original bulbs. My lights are angel eye projectors, and don't dazzle.0

Sorry- they are very bright, was pointing out that in mine there's no dazzle (though strangely, they passed MOT with the tester checking the sidelights as main beam!), so they'll be fine. They last quite a long time too.0

Are these just the full headlight kit (£130ish) or just the bulbs?
As I dont want to replace the headlight, just find bulbs0 -

Be careful buying branded bulbs on ebay - there are fakes circulating there. Phillips also make some extra bright ones which I forget the name of. Having said all that though I have some cheapo no name ebay bulbs in my car which are fantastic, and were a fraction of the price of osrams and the like.
Can you remember which seller you bought them from? or have any details?0
