  • Get well soon fishface x

I deposited £10 into Gala but didn't get the £10 bonus :( oh well I waged it all on Deal or No Deal and managed to salvage £5.30. Is it free to withdraw? Was thinking of waiting a while to ensure goes through with Quidco?

Will try betfair now! Still haven't got my head round matched bets yet so these easy ones are good for me :)

EDIT: just realised betfair is the ideal candidate for matched betting lol will lay off betting tonight and try to work out how to do that tomorrow!

Hi Miss Penny Pincher - Maybe you had to spend it on bingo - I'm not sure as I didn't read the T&C's:o . As soon as I had played £5 my bonus was added.

Not sure about withdrawing money as I didn't win anything (as usual!! ) but I think that I may have read that it is free to withdraw to credit and debit cards - don't hold me to this though!!

Cyberslotz is another good one - I deposited and played £10 (won about £4 and played it again - I never learn :o ) and got £20 from Quidco (or will in a couple of days when Quidco payment of £51.22 hits my bank account - are we allowed to include these payments? - other people seem to be going by payment date rather than earned date). Littlewoods Bingo is 100% so you can play this for free basically and possibly win a little extra (guess what - I didn't:mad: - see a pattern here?!! ).

Tonight I'm going to list a couple of things on ebay and amazon. Decided to leave the matched betting to the weekend when I've more time. I don't want to rush it and end up making a mistake and losing money:eek: !
  • Hi all...sorry wasnt on last night - computer really playing up & abcess agony. Tooth coming out on Thurs & laptop about to be purchased online (via quidco of course!). It means that my CC goes up but I cannot live without my laptop as my lifeline here & also for selling ebay/amazon etc...
Sorry (mememe!!)...back on track. PLEASE PLEASE people be careful re betting. I would really hate to think that people got into more trouble for the same of a challenge...its not worth it and most of us are in enough trouble already! Its a great way to make some money if you can afford it but also easy to get addicted (why I removed myself quickly from play 65 - a backgammon site after I found myself adding another 10!!) which is why they entice you with free money & great bonuses! Dont mean to lecture you but do feel a bit responsible as I set the challenge....
As for the ? re when things count from. My understanding was that it was money/credit that we earned after the start of the challenge so for things like quidco etc its anything after the first date of the challenge (28/10/06 I think?) that counts. There has to be some cut off date (ie I have over £20 from before the waiting in quidco but have not counted it in my £2.50 total) but at the end of the day just have to trust that people are being honest...remember aint no prizes for this - its just motivational!! If people keep to the same boundaries/rules (see first post) it will be an equal challenge - if not then some bad feeling will creep in I suspect so will leave this up to you individually...remember its meant to be fun & give us a boot up the bum!
ANyway...how you all doing? I gave up on Amazon & have swapped to green metropolis cos you actually make money! Although having said that havent sold a thing yet, despite listing loads of books!! Ho hum...off to try & win some bingo money but alas, despite signing up for littlewoods & gala not a penny won yet!!

    Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around mch, works been really hectic.

Hope your tooth is better soon Fishface.

I've managed the following so far :

    £3.64 on Quidco
Listed 302 items on Ebay this week over 3, 7 & 10 day listings so hopefully there will be something good to report next week.
I've got a Mystery Shop on Thursday that should earn £25.00 :T
I've applied to another 5 mystery shopping companies so hopefully some will accept me and give me work.
Over the weekend my aim is to read up on matched betting and place my first one.

So all in all this weeks total will only be £3.64 :embarasse :o

    Good luck everyone ...

    xx
  • OMG Elfin 302 items on Ebay!!! I thought I was doing well listing 6 items in a day!!!!

Well, I joined Mutual Points and have earned 395 points so far, apparently once you get to 3000 you get £20 so trying to do this with as little money as possible (onlt free things so far).

Also sold something on ebay for £1.00 but will have to work out what fees etc are and update sig.

Okay now i'm off to list more items on ebay..good luck all!!

  • Alicatt - thanks, I will try cyberslotz! I get a bit confused as on bingos I was betting on bingo games but didnt go through until I did a one off wager of £10 which was why I thought I had to wager £10 on one bet on gala too and couldn't work out how to do that on the bingo games - I really should read the T&C more thoroughly!

fishface - glad to see you back hun. I hope your mouth has eased a bit now x

scotlass - on the spreadsheet I sent you on the Ebay worksheet if you input how much you paid to list the item, whether the buyer is paying using paypal and how much you are receiving from the buyer for the item (write the amount you are receiving for the item and the amount for the postage in separate columns as it affects the final value fee). It will then automatically calculate for you the profit after all fees :)

    Hi Everyone.
Hope everyone is well, you all seem to be doing really good. I have been clicking aorund everywhere like a crazy women. I dont understand matched betting so i just signed up for a few bingo games & some magazine subscription whcich promptly cancelled. My quidco money totals £57.70 but i spent 2x£10 on signs & about £8 on magazine subs. So i think that means i made £39.70.
Mystery dine the night before we started is £30 (spent £34 but can only claim back £30), I stuck a load of books on Amazon & two sold immmediately (leaving me worrying that they were too good to sell - what a muppet)
I am waiting on my ebay sale of car boot china which cost £3.50,

Hopefully i'll have a few more freebies by the time we count up this week.

    Good luck everyone

....another happy bug.........sorry,blogger embracing the simple life
  • just ordered my laptop via quidco so cashback on cc plus the 3% from quidco - dont forget pigsback people! Well done on listing 102 items anyway...hopefully when new laptop all set up I'll be able to start listing stuff - this one is too unreliable at present & it will take me a while to sort out wireless connection etc! Bit computer illiterate me! Keep up the good work peepys!

  • Fish face - I hope you're feeling better soon. Absesses (sp?) can be so painful, I really feel for you. Roll on Thursday, eh?!

Elfin, 102 item is still amazing in one day - you go girl!!:T (Want to list mine for me? -;) Only joking!)

Good luck with the cyberslotz Miss Penny Pincher. Even if you don't win it's still a profit of £10.

Well, my book that I sold yesterday on Greenmetropolis, cost £1.39 to post so thats £1.61 profit. Also bought a CD on behalf of my mum last night and earned £0.35 cash back. So, along with Gala Bingo cashback earned last night, my total so far is £11.96.
