I'm having a stab at the spreadsheet now!
Any columns you think should definitely be included?
I've currently got income source, date, income, outlay (initial cost, postage, other), profit. Have done the cells in a different colour where figures need to be input.
I've also included worksheets to calculate profit from ebay and matched bets. Thought it may be useful to have the total on those pages linking into the overall profit worksheet. Hope this is making sense! Have only produced spreadsheets for myself before.0 -
O THANK YOU Miss Penny Pincher...we love you! Dont know what others think but I would have a colum for each member (in alphabetical order) & weekly & culminating totals, that ways its simple. People will just have to be honest about what they spend/make!! Have now had sucess in getting enough citric acid, bicarb of soda to make my first bath bombs so am off to have a try. If you hear a large bang in teh Cardiff area you'll know it went a bit awry!! If its any good will post the link! Good to see people so enthused!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Ah silly me! I was creating one for individuals to use to calculate how much profit they have!
I'm just off to Argos to spend some vouchers before they close woohoo but when i get back will get started on the comparison spreadsheet when I get back! As we are having weekly totals what date are we going to start off from? Saturday 27th?0 -

Before you rush into the matched betting make sure you understand it properly or you will end up losing money.Took me ages for it to click but once you understand the concept properly and understand the odds/back/lay system it is foolproof.I am going to try and make £50 per week from the matched betting.Once you understand it properly you will need to sign up to betfair and then you can go through cashback sites looking which bookies have offers on.Some people use quidco,I had a couple of bad experiences with quidco cashback and don't use it much, I use greasy palm the cashback amounts are usually less but i get my money, but lots of others swear by quidco.

Ok have finally finished the 'Make Money From Anything' Challenge spreadsheet!
First sheet is the running totals for everyone.
Second sheet is to keep track of your own individual profits.
Third sheet is the one that stretched me this afternoon and has taught me some new formulas so I'm proud of it. It is dedicated to calculating ebay profit - can record profit per item. The spreadsheet will calculate the final value fee and paypal fees for you showing what the eventual profit is!
Fourth sheet is to record profits from matched bets (both the total from matched bets and ebay profits will automatically be included in the individual profits if you choose to use them).
Fifth sheets is a matched betting calculator to help work out lay bet etc which I borrowed from someone else.
Let me know anybody if you want me to email it to you.0 -
Hi everyone,I posted an idea I had for making a little extra for christmas or towards paying off debts,( on the christmas thread)
Friends and family have been asking me if I can order things for them off the internet for christmas,so when they give me their list I try to find the cheapest shop, then I look for discount codes or free delivery ect.
One friend has asked if I can order her some things from M&S,so I went through a link on the voucher/codes thread for £10.00 off a £70.00 spend,so I kept the £10,paid with M&S card for points.
Next was a £50.00 spend with prezzybox,I went through Quidco for 8% cashback and found a £5.00 off code ,plus free delivery. So I kept the £5.00 +8% cashback and I paid with an M&S credit card so I will also receive More points aswell.(order only took me 10 mins to complete)
A friend asked me to order from boots so I got triple points + M&S points aswell,
plus cashback from quidco.
Friends and family are happy because they save petrol money and parking costs and time
They pay cash when I have placed the order, I keep my bit and the rest I pay my credit card with.
I a few days I have made £70.000 -
Hi, I couldnt get started on the other money for nothing thread either, can I join in, please? Really want to get started to help pay for things, including my debts, which amount to about £10,000. x0
-
angelite - of course you can join in - I've added your name on the spreadsheet!
To keep this fair please can we have all total profit on Thursday of every week from everybody?
That way each week I will be able to announce the person who has managed to earn the most for that week and also the one with the highest total if you like? I think I need that kind of competition to get me going although want to know what you think.
I've signed up for lovefilm via topcashback so hoping to get at least £12.50 from that :j
Also signing up for mypixmania via quidco but which is £4.50 for genuine order but I haven't worked out what the minimum order would be yet ie potential profit0
