Total £113.20 but I havn't actually got any of the money yet. Ebay will be finishing shortly so hopefully theres more to come. I really need to get my head around matched betting though.
I also need to think of a few things for next week as Quidco & Pigsback have already handed over their easy money to me.
Anastacia....another happy bug.........sorry,blogger embracing the simple life0 -
Hi everybody - how are you all doing ?
Ive been away for a couple of days and got back to check my phone on Ebay - it cost me £20, has 18 watchers, no bids and an offer of £80 buy it now to include postageIm going to wait till tomorrow to make a decision on the buy it now offer - an identical one ( in worse condition ) has just sold for £295  which must have been a mistake - there was new ones on there for half that
Matched betting this should have been included in week 1 but as I was away I am putting it into week 2 - £23.75 in my bank account nowand £25 tracked on Quidco. I found it very difficult though - can not believe that I have actually managed to do it.
Glad to hear you got rid of that nasty tooth Fishface
Well done Elfin - fantastic 1st week and Anastacia :T

Is it too late for me to join this?
I've been looking for some motivation for me to get of my a**e and get cracking on selling a load of stuff I don't want on e-bay.
Can someone explain though how you work out profit as some of the stuff I want to get rid of is years old and I can't remember how much I paid for it so is it just a case of subtracting the e-bay and postage fees etc?You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -

Hi Tinkerbell - I dont have a problem with you joining, the more the merrierwe have just started the second week which I think runs Thursday to Wednesday.
Pennypincher has done a brilliant spreadsheet that works out how much you can make on ebay after fees etc, if you look back through the thread you may find the information. I wouldnt take off the cost of the item if it is years old, only take off the cost if you have actually bought something to sell for the challenge.
Good luck
edit - actually I think it started on Friday 27th October so that would make the weeks run from Friay to Thursday - could somebody clarify ? Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0 -
thanks for your totals everyone! i'm happy with my small amount as without this challenge I would have been making excuses to not even make the effort to make that!
Just to confirm - the challenge runs from Friday to Thursday. With total profit submitted on Thursday if possible.
Tinkerbelluk - if you want a copy of the spreadsheet just pm me your email and I'm happy to send it.
Going to look at organising the spreadsheet so it will subtotal ebay profits and total profits by week for us.0 -
I'be just booked in a load of Mystery Shops that will bring my total well up.0

Well done Welshlassie :T I have now got a bid on my mobile of £40 with 20 watchers
fingers crossed for a bidding war as I was offered £80 on buy it now but didnt take it in the hope that I will get more if I leave it to auction
I have started another couple of matched bets with different sign up bonuses so hopefully that will be another £35ish plus Quidco £17 this week. Also signed up for a HSA policy via Quidco to get £35 but that will not come in for a few months so I wont count that till I get it
Im going to try to get a bit of stuff listed on ebay from home this weekend and some more books listed on Green Metropolis although I have been listing with them for a while and only sold 1 book :cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0 -
May I join in with this?
One thing I have noticed about these forums is you all seem so positive and upbeat and you seem to almost putting a bit of "fun" into it...which heaven knows we all need I think!
Great idea, I really am being inspired to have a good clean out now! I signed up with Greasypalm earlier and have £4.28, so that's a good startWannabee champagne girl...on a beer income.0 -
I know what you mean about green metroplis I've had loads listed on there and not sold a single one. I've kept them on there but listed them on ebay as well and remove them as the sell on ebay.
Have just worked out how much I'll get for the mystery shops and it totals £147, so very impressed, just have to do them this weekend.
Also have 3 bids on the stuff from my wardrobe that I listed last night, so a very successful 24 hours me thinks.0
