If you were doing 15-18 in lane 2 and the Audi 30 in lane 1 then he did nothing wrong.

You really don't understand the conception of merging do you?
The lead vehicle(s), in this case me and the Toyota have the right of way, you merge behind the vehicle that is in front of you, not undertake 2 vehicles thus causing those 2 vehicles to break, once again from the HC and post#28 (pretty sure undertake can be substitued for overtake);-

DO NOT overtake where you might come into conflict with other road users. For example- approaching or at a road junction on either side of the road
- where the road narrows
- when approaching a school crossing patrol
- between the kerb and a bus or tram when it is at a stop
- where traffic is queuing at junctions or road works
- when you would force another road user to swerve or slow down
- at a level crossing
- when a road user is indicating right, even if you believe the signal should have been cancelled. Do not take a risk; wait for the signal to be cancelled
- stay behind if you are following a cyclist approaching a roundabout or junction, and you intend to turn left
- when a tram is standing at a kerbside tram stop and there is no clearly marked passing lane for other traffic

It is quite easy to select and distort the paragraphs of the Highway Code to try to suit your argument, you need to take the whole Highway Code in context and compare that with your bad driving style.
Trust me, as I have said before, you would fail a basic DSA Driving Test driving the way you have demonstrated.0 -

It fcuken must be. There are two arrows in lane 2 so therefore it is lane 2 your lane that is ending.

The arrow on the road is pointing the wrong way,when this was done a few years ago I contacted the Highways dept, and informed them they had it wrong, they would not be convinced, I then contacted the traffic police and spoke to a sergeant who told me that they had also contacted the Highways and informed them they had it wrong, but still they would not listed and the police had no power to make them change it.
Ironically about one and a half miles away on the opposite side of the road a similar occurrence happens, i.e. lane 1 ends, but this time the arrow points the correct way, i.e from lane 1 to lane 2.
Also don't forget arrows on the road are advisory, you also need to look at the road layout, and in this case the arrows point the wrong way!
