My mum spoke to the police since her accident just for a bit of advice and they told her 99.99% of the time when you hit someone in the rear it is automatically your fault. I haven't watched your video purely as it has no relelvance to the advice I needed as my mum was stationary. There has to be exceptional circumstances for it to the car in front's fault.

Thanks again to all the useful advice on here so far :) No doubt I will have to keep coming back here until this is sorted.

he actually did a similar thing a bit further along the same road, only this time he undertook 2 vehicles causing both to brake, hence why

You mean he was driving along keeping left as the highway code suggest you do, and passed two middle lane drivers, which as their lane was moving slower, he is allowed to do.

I took it to the police as he is a hazard on the road,

How they must have enjoyed that. Did you hear the laughter as you left?

    I was not tailgating.

    You were (11 seconds in)

The horn was used at the earliest opportunity to warn him I was there, as he had obviously not used his mirrors, and he could/should have pulled back in, there was absolutely no reason for him to brake then pull out with his brakes still on.
My language, with no one else in the vehicle, is what most people would say,( possibly under their breath), when confronted with such action.

And you talk about me being incompetent, his lane was ending, he undertook 2 vehicles causing the Toyota to brake so he could, (again), have his way.

    I was not tailgating.

At the very least he is guilty of inconsiderate driving, bordering on without due care and attention.

So he had already moved therefore no need for the horn at all.

His lane was ending, looked to me like lane 2 your lane was ending else he would have been on the footpath.

As far as due car is concerned glass houses and all that.

Sorry, you're not going to like this but you drive like a c0ck.

If you look at the road from a driving position, ( the video does not show it clearly), it is lane 1 that ends despite the merge arrow,(in the wrong lane IMO and only advisory, as are all arrows), indicating differently, from leaving the lights in lane 1, if you kept the steering wheel straight, you would end up on the pavement, however using lane 2 and keeping the steering wheel straight, you would be on the road to the left of the centre road line, i.e. in the correct position! I have actually seen vehicles in lane 2 indicate left, pull over left then have to go right again to stay on the road. The police agree with me so I am not bothered about you lot who would probably do the same thing as , and are really a bunch of hypocrites.
I have no qualms about my style of driving, I am competent and the reason for taking the Advanced a few years ago was to improve and learn to be a better driver, I don't know if you are watching the same videos as me, but I think you need to get your eyes tested before venturing back onto the roads.

The Audi undertook my vehicle and the Toyota causing both to break, to merge correctly the lead vehicle(s) have the right of way and the Audi should have filtered in behind me and in front of the vehicle in lane 2 that he was in front of.

Driving in your " style " you would fail a basic Driving Test, don't worry about an Advanced Test.

I suggest that you consider some basic driver training.

Don't need it, I would happily put my skills against any of yours, the traffic police saw nothing wrong with my driving, choosing to "have words" with the Audi driver and not me, also saying that not all stops by the police end with a ticket, a lot depends on the drivers attitude when spoken to, i.e. a lot of drivers are stopped for speeding, but at the police's discretion can just be advised.

    Advanced driving is about attitude.

Derrick has plenty of the wrong sort.

He hasn't got a clue how to drive.
