If you win mis sell, then your ppi total is taken off the loan so your monthly payment goes down by the ppi amount, the ppi paid to date is given back to you and your loan stays the same term and apr. A bit of an update for you.....got my money in my account yesterday from Welcome!!!

I wasn't prepared to wait until after Xmas for it so I very politely kicked up a bit of stink and emailed everyone in Welcome and Cattles until something got sorted.

What a result and a very good Xmas in my house!!!

Good for you !! if you win then that loan is cleared, as they will take off the win the remaining balance (if you ask them to!), you will be loan free, and end up with something in your pocket and your ex will have "contributed" 8 months to this loan. Good luck with this and please keep me posted x.
