Still waiting for mine

Delivery is showing as 17/12/10...but i don't think it'll come now, fingers crossed for Monday.0 -
Just phoned, as I hadn't had any emails one way or the other, apparently they didnt have any email address for me . Still they found my order and it is "being dispatched today" - cant see it coming this side of xmas:(0

Hmmm
Looks as if I'll have to buy an alternative item. My package isn't even showing as trackable despite having been accepted for order six days ago. I understand the obvious difficulties of couriers and traders at this time but the whole experience is a million miles away from that of the likes of Amazon. (Where, of course, the postage is free)
Happy Christmas!0 -
Offer seems to be off now.The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0

woohoo, mine has been delivered, never showed up as trackable, but fairplay to Thorntons and Hermes, even in the snow I got my delivery.0

I placed an order on the 12th Dec, no email confirmation still, I've emailed and had no reply, I spoke to someone on Friday and he wasn't particularly helpful. I won't be ordering online with them again. Some friends have gone away for Xmas so will have to wait till after Xmas for their presents now.0

Mine just arrived, thank goodness - pressie for my Aunt & Uncle - thought I might have to venture out into icy wastes to buy something else if it didn't arrive. The box is really gorgeous. As are the free chox that came with the order!0

I ordered the Winter Wonderland Hamper last Monday and used the code for the free Ultimate Indulgence box (worth £24.99). Like some other posters, I hadn't added the box to my order. I just put in the code and it said 'accepted'.
IMPORTANT: If you are using a Thorntons code to get an item free, you must add the item to your basket and use the code, which then drops the price to £0. Just using the code without putting the item in your basket doesn't work.
Anyway, I phoned up about an hour after placing the order as I realised this, and the lady was very helpful and manually added that box to my order. So that was good.
However, I called today to check on the order (it didn't show up online for tracking). Apparently it's going to be dispatched today. That's a full week from ordering to dispatch.
I was aware of delays so we're not waiting on this for Christmas, but I still think that a week to get an online order shipped is fairly poor.0
