I'm not getting into a juvenile tit for tat on this.
Lets just say you must have the same spindoctor as the 'ex' transport minister.

I waited in all day friday 10th for a delivery from Comet ordered on the 3rd, no delivery and this morning no apology just its with parcelforce and there is a backlog. BBC news website says no more christmas tesco direct orders being taken either. It seems I may have to give up on online shopping for Xmas.

    Hi mrs T

Although we’re unable to do anything about the weather situation, it’s disappointing that you weren’t offered an apology. Parcelforce have informed us that all orders placed so far will be delivered before Christmas. Unfortunately, the poor weather conditions had a bigger impact than anyone could predict, for which I sincerely apologise.

If you’d like to email me your details I’ll try to track your order and update you on the situation. Also, if you paid a delivery fee, I’ll arrange for this to be refunded once I have your details.

    Thanks
    Kev from Comet

I can only hope people remember which companies drew a line at the border and vote with their feet in future.

I did that today-the dressing gown I ordered on 1st Dec for my daughter is now due for delivery sometime around 16th January!

I have spoken with my feet and bought one from the Disney store-and it's a better design!
  • I've been tracking my m&S parcel and it was shipped up here on the 15th and they are now saying that it is in the Glasgow centre but has been delayed for the last two days due to adverse weather.....

I'm sorry but there hasn't been any adverse weather in Glasgow other than cold....

    Grr

Present for in laws and they are up until sunday for the big present exchange then we won't see until after Jan...bummer

Good luck with M&S. I have an oustanding delivery from 23rd November. Been in DHL depot since then and they won't deliver to me as it's rural. M&S customer services have been rude and unhelpful.
They have said they will "ask" DHL to return it to them directly. This can take up to 6 weeks and "if they get the goods back and they are in good condition they will refund me". Oustanding, they have my money from 23/11 until perhaps the beginning of Feb. I've never seen the goods and they cannot see what the problem is.

    Ex M&S shopper now.

Just keep emailing them. I always put "complaint" in the subject box on any email, to any store. I add each email and answer from them to every email I send.

It might take a few emails but in the end I get what I want or at the least a credit to my online account of a minimum of £5. M&S are the best at dealing with to be honest though I would never admit that to them.
Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
  • Their last email to me stated that they now "regard the enquiry as closed and will not be entering into further correspondance regarding this order".

I simply won't be entering into any further business with M&S and will make sure as many people as possible are aware of their blatant disregard for common courtesy

Thanks but rearranged delivery for 18th cancelled at 5pm on 17th, with an apology but no idea of when I might expect delivery. Money taken on the 7th!

Took delivery today (23rd) and an hour later got a phone call to say it would be arriving on the 30th! At least I got my present before Saturday, well done comet.

30th - got a phone call from a delivery man to say he had my delivery on board and was on his way to my house but I was honest and told him I'd already received it. First no delivery, then two.
