Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I'm in if running late this week. :o

I have so much to do, I'm still ill and battling this infection is wiping out any brain function I have. I look at what needs to be done around the house, sit down to write lists and then my mind goes blank and I can't write them, so I get up to do the jobs and I don't know where to start :o:rotfl::o SO, I've told work I won't be in this week which means I won't be going to see Aladdin :( but every muscle in my torso is aching from coughing (I've pulled the muscles around my diaphragm:eek:), and DD said I was blending in with the magnolia walls :o

I'll be back later to sort out my proper list but I have a 6pm deadline for making up 3 (or is it 4?) gifts for DD to take to the last Brownies tonight and I've only just realised the time:eek::eek: School run!!!!!! *disappears in a cloud of dust like road runner*

I've made some mince pies, but I don't like the mincemeat... it keeps overflowing and making a mess. So the pies are difficult to get out (all the tins need soaking) and don't look very nice. I think I need to customise the next jar...

OH has split a whole lot of logs and put them in the shed in potato sacks to make sure they're dry, restacked the log pile to make sure that the damp stuff (from the front) can dry, and split some more kindling. He's also been up in the attic to get the christmas decorations down (I'm sending him home with the old artificial tree, in case he feels like putting up a tree), and checked the header tank for the heating. Which is fine. So, as I bled the radiators and the bleed point yesterday and there was no air in the system, why is it making so much noise?

Someone knocked on the door earlier about the water leak on our shared supply (which I knew about, I could hear it :)) offering to sort out my water supply too. But if, as they say, they've moved everyone else off the shared supply apart from me, why do I care? My bit has already been repaired (but they don't know that). Also, they say insurance covers it, but that's only for accidental damage, and I have a feeling that the problem is just old age!

Haven't got much work done this week :( but don't really feel like it...

    Hi all
Just dropping in to say 'hello' - sorry I've not been around for a couple of weeks, but things are hectic to say the least. I'm training for a new job and at least 3 nights a week I'm training. It's really hard work.

I'm working through the lists as and when I can, but Christmas is looming too and there's extra baking to be done! Christmas shopping is done and wrapped - all apart from 3 things outstanding for OH....just waiting for delivery.

Anyway, just wanted to send some hugs and spoons to anyone who needs one.

Normal service will hopefully resume in January! Job is only part time - probably 6 hours a week and fits around everyone in the house, so hopefully...

    Take care all
    D
