This morning has been a write off. After I said I'd do a HHC I had a phone call from a lady down the road which ended up taking over an hour of my time ..... I won't go into it but :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
So here's my list - if it's gone I've done it. Have to say my windows are almost unrecognisable - they were minging and I hadn't even noticed it.

Ok, I'm in! Better late than never, I guess!
Hugs to all that need them especially Jassa and JoJo.
Slowly getting ready for Christmas, just a couple more pressies to buy and some cards to write. A bit of last minute baking and put the decorations up at the weekend and I should be there. We are away most of Christmas which makes it a bit easier as don't really have to worry about having the house spotless for guests but it would still be nice if it was spotless for us
I have asked DH to help me blitz the house one eve this week, as we are both out all day and we have got a great long list of things to do in the evenings before we even start thinking about cleaning but if we can attack it between us, we should be able to make it half decent in a couple of hours. If we don't argue to much that is about what is considered clean and what is not!!:rotfl:
List I still have to do, I have deleted the things I don't need to do (mainly cause we don't have a tree up yet and don't need to do any christmas food shopping):

not bad for my first week back...now on with todayOn a mission0 -
Just running back in after morning at work - been going in much more than usual recently, as we have a large project on, so that's why I keep going AWOL.....
DD breaks up from school at 14:30pm, so I have just over an hour to myself. Should I put my feet up? Should I make a cuppa? Or should I admit to myself that the whole place looks a shambles, and set myself the target of MAKING A DIFFERENCE in just over 1 hour before she arrives???
Oh - go on then. Now I've logged in, I'd better shift myself, hmm?
OK - starting now and scurrying after Mumof2.....

Had a successful HHC:
Did all today's list jobs - 2nd day running :j:j and some of my extras too
Sorted out just under a bin bag full of clothes/shoes for charity shop
Found DS's old outgrown clothes for my newphew
Gone through toy drawer in here and got rid of 1/2 black bag of unused toys/old birthday cards - DD likes to keep them for doing 'craft' but it's rather excessive
MissH, hope you're doing well and thanks for joining me!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Taking a quick break: glad you got on well, Mumof2
Mine is all rather random: I've stuck on the dishwasher, clearing all the breakfast dishes in the process; and bagged up the rubbish to throw out when DD comes in (well- she'll have her shoes on, won't she?).
Have stripped DD's bed, because it needs doing; and tidied up loads of clothes in my bedroom. Then swept the utility room/kitchen floors because they were horrible, and packed up the box of things I need to take into work tomorrow (clearing the dining room table in the process).
I've whooshed all the towels off the rails in the bathrooms and from the kitchen; and I've thrown a few items of food out of the fridge so that I don't heave when I open the door.... oh lord!
And I've picked up loads of bits of paper (packets, newspapers, old homework sheets, screwed up balls, cut-offs etc etc) and put them by the fire for when we light it next.
All a bit scattered, but it does look a little bit better... :T
Back to do a few more minutes before she arrives...
