YTT - Just about finished my application form :) Have done some re-jigging of the figures too. I should be able to pay off £300 a month when I start training so it'll push my cc bebt free date back a few months but will be worth it. Plus, I'll hopefully be more focussed and organised so you never know I might be able to find the extra £100 from somewhere to keep up my current payment amount and OH will be on board too. :T

After that it's all hands on deck to get the flat sold and the loan part of the mortgage paid off - around £8k at 4 or 5% apr, but % will go up once the flat is sold IYKNWIM…

Got a few things coming up over the next few months and next year so need to be saving for those… Even just £50 a month for now will help me muchly come July. My VSP is totting up nicely and the penny jar is pretty full, but will they be enough??? Will need to see how much I can get from e baying this month. Must do it tonight so it finishes on Sunday - think I heard somewhere that Sunday evening end time is busiest on e bay. Will also hunt for some things suitable to sell on amaz*n. Rid of the old and in with the new and all that… :)

jwil :jabout the kindle! I have started sorting out collections on mine - only have 4 in the Already Read collection and 6 in the To Read collection. Sounds pitiful compared to yours! :p I can't believe how much you read! I usually read only about 1 a month. Reading a free kindle book just now - The Golden Acorn - think it's a kid's book but quite enjoying it.

    xxx

I do read loads, always got a book with me :). I've got quite a bit on mine now, but am still trying to avoid using it too much!

    OK, I'll forgive ya ;)

    What's the new avvy???

it says I always offer 2 choices at dinner time 1. take it or 2.darn it - or words to that effect can't actually see on this netbook! I was actually looking for a slighter ruder one my friend had which was a really cool looking 60s chick which had emblazened across the bottom a word that sounds like hunt :rotfl: not sure if it would be too rude, what d'u think????

what's this La E you going back to school? Did I miss something?

    :rotfl:You could only try :rotfl:

Sorry, I was a bit cryptic there...was posting on lunch and rushing my abbreviations :) no school, yoga teacher training. There's a course starting in March that I'd like to do, with course fees, travel etc it'd work out about £250 a month for me most months. Really want to do it so figure now is the best time. Eek, scary prospect though!!

Not really decided tbh. I think at first I would still work full-time and maybe look to do a Saturday or a Sunday morning class, or maybe just one evening class a week and see how that worked out. Can't imagine ever being able to drop hours at work but guess that would depend on what will come of the Escocesa Yoga School :)

Feeling in need of some R&R - weekend went to quickly, or maybe it's a touch of the January blues. Anyway, I've got tomorrow and Wednesday off work and in those two days I plan to do everything that's on my to do list and get to the point where I feel on top of everything at home.

Think the key is to clean the kitchen and then sort all the laundry and the bedroom. After that everything will all fall into place :rotfl:

Is it sad that I'm taking a couple of days to do housework? Probably. :p Oh well, each to their own, as they say :) Not only going to be boring stuff though - I've got boxsets to watch, tv to catch up with, things to knit and books to read, and might even managed an NSD or two! :D

Hope you enjoy your couple of days off La Escocesa, loving the sound of the yoga school too!

Day off is going well so far.

I'm going to finalise my application form and get that emailed to them (saving a stamp) and OH is going to take the passport-sized photos for me so I'll save on the booth.

Got 3 watchers for e bay listings...Let's hope that materialises.

Money-wise things are tight... Going to check properly to assess the damage and will report back... :o

Banking - just checked it now all bills have come out - grand total of £102.75  - still need to pay yoga out of that (£30) and cc min payment (£34.82) so got around £35 spare really...
    Purse - £24
    Vouchers - £20
Xmas money - £220 - going to transfer £100 of this to cc today :T

    Ch-ch-changes...

    Bank - £7.65
    Purse - £200
    Vouchers - £20

Best transfer some money before my other payments come out - need min £65 in there.

CC#1 - £178 to clear in full on 30th :T but still need to remember in budget!
    CC#2 - £2200

The website for CC#2 is coming down while they upgrade! How !!!! is that?! Won't be as easy for me to make payments etc throughout the month. Maybe I should move my cc balance to take advantage of the 4.9% deal I got offered. Would mean clearing the £178 balance first though so I'd be back in overdraftdom this month...
