My money saving ways

Well done on the balance transfer! Great stuff. :j"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Right, let's get this money thing in order
Money in bank £2.75
Money in purse £80
Stuff to pay:- mobile bill... need to check how much this will be - about £17
- min payment to cc @ £3.16
- yoga @ £30
- Travel to sister's @ £80ish
Overdraftdom looms
The only thing I could do is put travel tickets on the cc I clear in full - pay part out of this month's money and the rest off after payday. Nothing coming up in May so I can be a bit of a hermit paying off that then:o
Payday is 21st April so doesn't seem like too far away.0 -
21st will soon come around, well at least quicker than the 28th0
-
eek, scared to check my banking
Payday tomorrow so maybe things will feel better then... My pay rise kicks in too.0 -
Happy payday and payrise!
Hope you have a good Easter"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Thanks jwil. Hope you have a nice time too.
Payday isn't much better now it's here - all cash is already accounted for and that's before I spend a single penny on anything that isn't a bill. Eek. Oh well, thinking things will be better in a few months.
Just another thing to put the breaks on us selling the flatCan't believe we've been talking about waiting until next year again. I really want to sell, even if it is just to rent a nicer place but then I can't help thinking we can't afford a penny more in mortgage/bills and moving costs would probably tip my debt busting over the edge. Arghhh. Why does everything get so complicated?! Can't really think about it all. Might have a rethink after the holidays. Officially off work for 11 days
Might just chill out rather than clear out.

Cheers chick. I know we won't be stuck in this flat forever. Just seems like that sometimes. Think the trick is just to make sure we get out and about often and make sure we clear out loads, especially clothes. We've only got space for a single wardrobe and a coupe of shelves each so it just means that clothes are lying around everywhere. Nightmare!! Would definitely help if we were more organised though and only had the clothes that we like/wear. There's plenty of storage in the living room, but again, everywhere is full/spilling over! Definitely going to start that clear out next week. Maybe minimalism IS the key! I am following missminimalist on twitter now btw0

fab isn't it??? Have spent the last week ditching the rubbish! oh's car is full to bursting to take to the CS tomorrow (get him working while I'm working) our house has been minimalised throughly for the viewing - has happened now so fingers crossed!
wicked thing is I have been able to have so many more NSDs as I now realise I don't need to even want the carp I spend my cash on so its not even challenging - I love her more than Martin! :rotfl:DF as at 30/12/16
