I collected my cake stand yesterday. I gave it a wash before use and it came apart. This is very poor quality, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Collected mine today and was told they were 75% off, so original price would have been £14.75, so I think you were just unfortunate and should take it back for a replacement or refund.

My cake stand is lovely and appears to be well made, so I am very happy. Thanks OP.

I phoned before going to collect for the second time - after they refused to unpack the pallet on attempt #1. Lucky I did because someone had cancelled my order and sold it to someone else! The manager agreed to put one aside from this week's delivery. As a precaution I have made a separate reservation at another store....
