These are great even if you do not make cakes. Get a round oasis from the florist and soak, put on top of your cake stand then place on your Xmas table filled with ivy, Holly, and green foliage that is free if you take a walk around the Forrest. I have done this many years, and if you get the long thin candles to stick in the oasis, it looks even better.

In Morrisons this morning I noticed a pretty two tier cake stand for a fiver, they have a laptray £4 and a mug, coaster and sandwhich tray in the same range.

Thanks OP - managed to reserve the last one. Shame, as I wanted 2, one for me and 1 for a pressie. Looks like I'll have to find a different pressie for my friend!

arrgghh...they've got some in stock in my local one, but i can't get the website to work to reserve them, says i need to enable cookies - but they ARE enabled....will have to take a chance they're stil there when i can get in. cheers, OP - great find!

I'm trying to reserve something else and I'm getting the same message even though I've tried everything with the settings, it's driving me mad!

I just had trouble trying or reserve too, it says there are 91 available at my localfe store and 2 at each of the next nearest stores. Will try again tomorrow.
