Just had a phone call from the store where I reserved and apparently they don't actually have any stock although the website said 2 were available & allowed me to reserve one - dag nammit!"You've got to cut your cloth to suit your wassname" Terry (my Dad), 1944-present0 -

I had the same thing happen, except the store didn't let me know that they didn't actually have any stock, so I had a wasted journey (16 miles round trip) and stood around waiting in the shop for about 20 mins and left empty-handed with barely an apology
If anyone is still to collect theirs, I'd recommend ringing the store to check they physically have the stock reserved before setting off!0 -

Picked mine up today also, great buy. No box, i wonder why that is? Very strange.
It's a lovely item though and can't wait to use it.0 -
Picked mine up today and they are absolutely perfect for the wedding cakes...well anything would look better than my plan of decorating a couple of different sized boxes for the cakes to sit on!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I reserved one last night to collect today - got to the store and was told they didn't have any and that I should have a received an email to let me know (which I didn't!). The woman in Homebase checked the stock at some other local stores and found there were 10 available, but when I rang them they said they didn't have any. Urgh! I've now reserved one at another local shop but who knows what will happen tomorrow! Hopefully I will get one as I want to use if for my son's birthday cupcakes on Tuesday. Glad to hear that no-one else has had any problems though.
I have a sneaky feeling the staff nab these for themselves - Esp the last few , thats why there's no stock left when you get there
Same thing happened to me with a £3 lamp - But at least they had the decency to phone me and let me know!!0 -
Collected 1 had the 2nd cancelled as didn't have as many in stock as website said. Ordered the 2nd one again to arrive in store over the next weke or so as they said they're getting another delivery of about 6 for the same price!0
