No worries, hope it helps.Angel_Rachie wrote: »Sorry i meant to say Psychiatrist (i get them mixed up) and yeah i think i have an enhanced care plan. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Does your psychiatrist deem that you are fit to drive? If not, get him to write it down and you will be eligible....
I don't know wether i'm fit to drive tbh. Iv'e never tried to drive but i dread to think what would happen if i drove and had a psychotic episode.
I have asked my support worker to ask my psychiatrist to sign my form and provide a supporting statement and we will see how that goes. It's a rather slow proccess and wont be seeing either of them til next thurs now to get the signed form.No More Buying Books: read 0/25; Bought: 0

bus passes are given because of disability, but you seem to be applying for one because you are 'feeling the pinch'
By all means, apply, but apply for the right reasons.
No reason why you shouldnt apply but why do you think you deserve one (aside from the 'feeling the pinch)
I feel i need one as i struggle to use public transport and sometimes i require a carer/enabler to assist me to use public transport. Also think i would be refused a driving liscence on medical grounds too.No More Buying Books: read 0/25; Bought: 0

If a person needs help/assistance to use public transport they are well within their right to apply for the disabled bus pass. They can't go on public transport alone but they say they are sometimes able to if assisted by a carer. What good is a bus pass if you struggle on public transport?I am a vegan woman. You won't get a bus pass because you "think I might be refused". You have to have evidence that states you've been refused. TBH i don't know wether my driving liscence will be refused until i applied for one, so will have to look into this further. No More Buying Books: read 0/25; Bought: 0

Not necessarily true; this depends on the authority for your region. I didn't have to have that.Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0 -

Generally you would have to be refused. I know there's one or criteria where this doesn't matter. However, in the OP's case, it's relevant.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
