the sale is in the shops on the 28th last year my vip slot was the week b4 xmas, i got my invite on the 17th and booked my slot and places my order on the 22nd after 6pm, once my orde went through they offered me a longer slot to do more shopping. i remember as i still have the emails and i was in america at the time.

SALE is def the 28, boxing day is weekend then bank holiday, my cousin works there so this is confirmed.

I got a vip slot for last xmas sale and before that I only ordered once which was about 80quids worth.So I think it's totally random.

In previous years it as always been on the 27th. My local shops are all open that day such as M&S even if it a bank holiday. Sunday trading laws do not apply

i have been using next for a while and have yet to get a VIP slot not that i have any credit remaining anyways, i'm a little confused as to how they can just take it away from you?, i always pay on time and always more then the amount asked, yet one day i log on and they have taken my credit from 600 + to 0 .. and its been that way since june! is this right ? or should i ring ( i know i should of its just not a priority) you just assume that they are right and its for a good reason, someone told me its because they do random credit checks ? x

My credit keeps going up. It's currently £3000 and I've never asked for an increase. In fact I never spend more than a £100 at a time. Give them a call and ask. I'm not impressed with VIP slots after not getting one for over a year. This time I have got a directory and so has Mr shoe so we are just keeping our fingers crossed.
