Why has someone edited my post of information, it took me a little while to do that, now it don't even make sense. Oh well it does have it's reason.
But my new thred i made on the home phones page is deleted, that just sucks, and i didn't even get a reason for that. :mad:0 -
Sorry maneesh, I am away from my own pc and don't have my usual access to MSE.
One thread was deleted as it was duplicated elsewhere and the other post was edited as it doesn't relate to the subject of the thread.
Please try to search the boards for the subject you are looking for and then ask a question on that thread, this way all threads keep on topic and don't get duplicated.0 -
Hi edinburghlass
Something has gone haywire over this merging - try and make sense of the posts on this page!
My post above was in reply to another post on a thread that was discussing the merits of 18866, and now appears here on a thread regarding 18866 and the internet. The author of the post above mine could now (quite rightly) say to me "what are you talking about?"
Merging just seems to ruin the threads - why not lock a duplicate thread rather than just mix up its posts in other ones?0 -

But i posted a brand new thread with all that information on under the home phones section.
Now i've lost all that information because i thought it was going to stay up, and that i don't save every thread i post.
Well it's mods decision, but it would be nice if i got a warning or reason by a pm or something first, otherwise i just think someones deleted it for no reason.
Oh well since everyone knew anyway, it's not that big of a deal, bygones be bygones.0 -
Getting back on topic, has anyone found an ISP which you can still use 18866 to connect to?0
