Hi everyone, well I found £1.72 on the bedroom floor this morning. finders keepers or say I say anyway!!
I've also changed my mobile phone contract so I've now got a saving of £20 per month (gone from £35 to £15) so I'm going to add £240 to my total. So my running total so far is £521.18Too much month, not enough Cash!

Well another £30 in the pot for me! My friend borrowed some DVDs off me a couple of years ago and has lost them so she is giving me the money it would cost her to buy them now!
Got some Friends DVDs that I know wont get me much but im going to try and sell them. Also loads of clothes to put on ebay that still have the tags on!
I used to do handmade jewellery and cards but dont have the time anymore so going to try and find somewhere to sell all the leftover bits (plus im sure my mam will be glad to clear her spare room of it all!!)
Determined to pay off at least one credit card by the end of the year so im only going to count actual money going into my savings account.Time to get things sorted once and for all......0 -

Next plan is old phones. Which is the best sites to send these to as they are quite old and scuffed so really could not sell them on ebay.
Take care everybody

Hi all,
Home now, had a few more votes while I been out so thanks for that!
I received £10 direct sport gift voucher that I won from a comp and an e-mail telling me I won some top trumps cardsso that is 2 things in the pressie box and my total up by £12 as it has saved me buying (if that makes sense
)
Gonna have another read of matched betting, really like the idea!0 -
maybe that would be a good mini challenge see how many meals you can make in a week with stuff thats been in your freezer/cupboard for too long and add the money to your challenge pot
That's a great idea - i love using things up, it feels really good. I think because it feels tidy and organised as well as making savings. I detest waste of any sort, it really grates on me - fortunately OH doesn't subscribe to use-by dates and will eat anythingI'm trying to use a little less of everything i use - ie less shampoo, less squash, less butter etc - you get the idea!
- which should help with a healthier diet too.
It's amazing how much money folk are finding just lying around their homes. Also eBay - I don't know whether it's because i can't part with my things or whether i find it hard to think anyone else would buy them but i don't seem to have anything to sell. Is there anything folk find sells particularly well on eBay?Just £10,852.28p to go...

Ok, my update:
Money got: £5 reward on halifax account (don't know how I qualified for that!)
£1.22 in money found on floor.
Money to come: Items on ebay, currently @ £6.50, 4 days left.
Extra work: 6 hours OT.... £30 after tax.
Clinical trial: £65 for 2 hours
Car tax refund: Applied for, maybe £34
Also have money in various pots but not adding until pots are FULL.
To do: More stuff for ebay, sort out boot sale and find one to go to! Keep looking and the floor and picking up money
Work out how much I need to start my business, do research on pricing and ebay fees, look into my own website. (Money for business must come from money made extra... part of my challenge to myself!)
Finish my goddamn book!
Thanks everyone for updating so often, really keeping me focused!2011 <-- clear debts, start own business, publish book, quit job!Progress: Raising money to start business£128.00/£6.50
