I know im a little late for this but I would like to give it a go, unfortunately I know I wont get anywhere near £11,000 as I have one of those husbands who sees spare money to be spent and not saved, but luckily for us im the one who does the budget every week, so I might have to do some cheeky saves.

I will start out with the money that is in my fuzzy monkey (money box) £6.20.

Well thats me finally realised the partys over and allowed the alcohol to leave my system so i thought that i would get set right about this.

Going to start lising on ebay tonight:
car brake pads i never used.
    few drill bits.
few bicycle parts from a project from years ago.
    maybe a few books.

i also have quite a few transactions on quidco (from months ago), about £83 so will need to wait for them to drop in aswell.

    Happy New Year Everyone

Blimey wow! whats happened to this thread? I haven't been on since just before christmas - we had a berevement in the family so today is really the first time i have had the opportunity to catch up - didn't read everything or i would be here for hours lol.

Well I have 40+ items listed on ebay but am pretty sure not everything will sell but i listed it all at 99p so no charges if not sold. Still go so much more to list!!

I have about another £60 to put in the account from ebay sales last year.

maybe that would be a good mini challenge see how many meals you can make in a week with stuff thats been in your freezer/cupboard for too long and add the money to your challenge pot

I like this idea too :j:jCount me in! I just spent half an hour making a stew with stuff that needed to be used up in the fridge. Apart from milk I am hoping not to need to spend much more this week.

Apart from that just the usual surveys etc today. Off to have a look at Costa Bingo. I'm wondering if you can prebuy tickets to take advantage of the free games. :o
