Yay Wilf55 - thats a great saving. Things like that increase your disposable income and make you feel great!
Frasersmum - this challenge has kept me awake on many an occasion with my head full of ideas.lol.
Nixi - the car is much smaller than our old one but that feels good. Its a rover city 1.4 - 2004 reg. our old one was an 1997 S reg so big improvement for us.

Found loads of change around the house again (good old OH who leaves change everywhere!) which went straight in the pot :) i found 10p on the bedside unit last night and actually got out of bed to put it in the pot! obsessed?moi? never! :D

Ive got loads to list on ebay and etsy so off i go!

Keep it up everyone,we will get £11k each in no time! :)

Well done everyone, your all doing so well!

Counted up all vouchers, loose change and money made and have a total of £1177 so far, quite alot of interest on my ebay items but still four days to go, I am soo impatient I usually do 3 day listings as I hate the suspense but I think it has given my items a good chance of going for more.

Not sure what I'm going to do today money making wise, feel I have hit a bit of a brick wall?

Will have a nosey around for more ebay things, try to get my head around amazon for book selling, look into matched betting and maybe do some reviews.

Any extra tips and ideas very welcome :)

    Hi everyone

Received a whopping (!) £3.30 from TopDollarMobile to add to my total and am expecting just shy of £50 from Topcashback in the next few days so I'll add that to my total when it hits the bank.

I've also signed up to Ciao and Dooyoo - do people have a preference between the two? And do you 'recycle' your reviews?

I prefer Ciao as the cash out rate is lower, but I have been known to post reviews on both sites - but unless you have alot of time I think its easier to devote time to one or the other because you have to read other peoples review to get them to read yours back.

  • Hi Everybody

Well I have decided any money we make or saving is going to pay off the mortgage which will save more money.:T

Well since the kids are now back in school my plan can start. This morning I emptied the change pig and there is £25.00 in it. So off to the bank to put it into the new account.

Also checked my paypal account and I have £78 in it so have done a transfer into my bank account.

    So total todate is £103.

Next plan is old phones. Which is the best sites to send these to as they are quite old and scuffed so really could not sell them on ebay.

    Take care everybody

well hello and good morning last day off work tomorrow determined to clear out kids clothes and list too small items on ebay .i have started the diet again and sticking to a no food after 8 rule this time . i am doing the frugal living challenge and think thats helping as trying to live within the budget so having to be more inventive and all home cooking except the kids fishfingers .tonight me and hubby will have smoked haddock and brocolli pasta his glten free mine wholemeal the ingredients have been there for months except the milk butter and cheese for sauce .

maybe that would be a good mini challenge see how many meals you can make in a week with stuff thats been in your freezer/cupboard for too long and add the money to your challenge pot
So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x
