I never actually thought of that. *Makes a mental note*

I remember at college, the vending machine was fooked. If you hit the refund button just as the juice was vending you used to get the money back plus the juice. Quite bad now I think about it but oh well. I probably lost more cash in the sweetie machine!!

Ooh I have 3 MAC eyeshadows that I could sell on eBay. They were popular colours that I decided that I needed but they're too gold toned for me so look orange lol. Got the Urban Decay Naked pallette for Christmas so TBH these are pretty redundant. Ooft and a foundation!

Might list those - I have fallen out with MAC atm anyway!

    Day Three

Today i have done nothing, but i did remember i have £50 Christmas money that i can put in my savings, so all is not lost! :)

I've got £6 of bids on my ebay stuff, but it's not due to end until Sunday.

It was DH's first day back at work, so i am adjusting to being alone with the two kids all day again. I forgot how "busy doing nothing" you are!!

Tomorrow DD is at nursery, so i will go through The clothes she just grew out of and DS's newborn stuff and sort some out to sell and take photos. Taking the pictures is the most head blagging bit i find! It is easier though when you haven't got a super curious toddler around. :rotfl:

Oooh! I remembered today that January is the last month of paying council tax for this financial year! So February and March i will have an extra £135 each month to set aside! WOOP!

    I have a question...

My hobby is photography and although i am no where near a professional standard i'm not bad and i have done a couple of weddings - my 4th wedding job will be in April. Apart from the odd word of mouth job doing weddings for friends / friends of friends does anyone know how i could use this hobby to generate some income? I have to be careful however since i don't want to loose my maternity pay.

jess444, i usually time my listings to end at teatimeish on a Sunday. I figure people might be all full from their Sunday dinner sat about looking for stuff on the net. :)

nixinixi, i didn't feel the earthquake and i'm in Yorkshire! Whereabouts was it? Mad!

EMminently, YEY! Gotta love a tax rebate!!

skint-student-nurse, thanks for that sample link! I use H&S, so fab for me!

hopeless case, i think everyone has their own rules to follow. Many are basically trying to save the £11K and maybe using some of it to invest in ways to make extra income. I am including everything that i put in and keep in my savings account.

I've got a few things still unsold from last january's sale so they will be going to table top sale either this weekend or early feb.
