    Hi elly

I will have a look at the flylady thread tomorrow and the frugal thread too.

Ebay is very hard work at the mo, probably because the items I sell are all low value. Will nip to carboot on Sunday and see if I can buy a few things to sell on.

Can't get a grip on money at the moment, in one year wages have gone from £12,500 in Jan 2010 down to £3,600 in Sept 2010 and now budget cuts zilch. Can't find a job within a 20 mile radius ( we live in a rural area so nearest town is 10 miles away)... trying not to use the car but can't walk to shops etc as they are ... 5 miles away.

Never mind something will crop up :)

I got that too! There's double points throughout march aswell :D Wehey!
  • Morning all!

I doubt today will be productive as DD is poorly, looks like she has chicken pox :( I now have my fourth INR case within a week, absolutely fuming so i will change all my listings to send everything recorded delivery and try and find a different selling platform as its winding me up now

On a brighter note, we didnt have to pay for OH's birthday dinner last night so thats more pennies for the pot :) Got some items to return to a shop so i will do that tomorrow and bank the money. I need to work out my total too,so i will update that asap.
    ;)

I am also disheartened and unmotivated by any money made being swallowed up i feel miffed that i dont see anything from it especially as at the moment its not even covering essentials bt if i didnt have it ......i would be even less able to cover essentials

I'll give this a go. Last year I made an extra 4k (sadly this got spent instead of going onto debt) but I doubt I'll be as good this year!!
Debt at worst: £33000 (Feb 2011). Present debt: £25610 (Apr 2012)
    Lloyds old (22.4%) = 560 (Dec 2012)

Quite chuffed that doing this challenge has enabled me to clear one credit card and am now less than £100 away from clearing an old overdraft :j.....daren't think about the rest right now. :o

I know what you mean, we are just covering essentials too and I was upset this morning when I found out that my daughter had holes in her shoes, school bag had broken and her trainers were too small and didn't want to tell me in case "I hit the roof" as she knows that there is no spare money. Bless her she's 15 and doesn't ask for much. So I have been sorting out stuff for a car boot on Sunday and see if we can make anything towards what she needs. I have got 3 boxes full so far... off to see what's lurking under the beds.... if I haven't surfaced by 6 pm can you send in a search party please :rotfl:
