Two mystery shops for Gap today then my regular work and just finished so shattered! Won just over a tenner on the Sun wheel of fortune (daily freebie) and just reached redemption at Pure Profile. There is a new (long, dull) survey on there right now, pays okay. Applied to taste radar too, fingers crossed. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Rachelja I don't think we are allowed to say who we are mystery shopping on here. Might be wise to edit your post.
Sounds like you are keeping momentum going though. Which is great.

I think they can get away with saying gap and RE, that kind of thing. Its just they can't say "I've got a mystery shop in 'made up shop' and I'm getting £20 reimbursement and a £5 fee"
If that makes sense?
No work tomorrow so I'm planning to finally do that eBay listing!!0 -
god i should be asleep but i'm awake again at least not at 5 like yesterday hope ev1 enjoyed their tipple ,i was supposed to go out in edinburgh but missed the train lol so probably saved 50 pounds went to mr t and bought wine of which i had 2 glasses and had to go to bed just think i will have the left overs tonight frugal living eh left over food for tea and left over wine for pudding.
we are looking at consolidating our cc which if we get a half decent rate will reduce our outgoings and save us interest ,we are then going to pad the loan to see if we can clear it quickly did the equifax thing yesterday and going to spend today cancelling cc that i cleared and catalogue that i dont use any more i'm starting to wonder why i spent so much before especially when technically it isnt mine to spend then oh started talking about the proposed extension and i remembered that it's oh who likes to spend not me which is why the miser in me is actually enjoying this frugal lifestyle. so here i am saying cheers to left over wineSo finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0 -
lol Elly - cheers indeed to left over wine.
just watch out with consolidation that you don't end up paying loads extra in interest cos of the length of the loan. if you get a flexible loan on a good rate that you can make extra payments to then that sounds great.
We did one at the beginning of the year. not a fantastic rate but better than our overdraft and my cc so still better and means we have an endpoint. it was hard trying to reduce the overdraft but a loan with definite payments is a lot easier to be disciplined about.
Its still going to take us a long time. but aim to be all paid off including dh ccs in 5 years if not a little sooner.

hi jo no it will be a 5 year plan ,which we hope to make extra payments to oh really has caught the frugal bug ,and he hopes to start extension in 3 so i think we will become frugal padders .i like the idea of padding and going to find the thread ,if i padded my extra savings on food and ebay sales i think i would be up to11,000 in no time in saved interest maybe thats what we should be frugally padded dribblers or is that padded frugal dribblersSo finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0

PAD-ing looks good elly. I am putting my PADS into savings account and then paying off my cc a couple of days before direct debit goes out as any payments I make before then will just reduce my direct debit! grr.
think its easier with loans but not PADing that till cleared my cc completely. Dhs credit cards are on good long term rates which are better than the loan. so finishing my cc first then the loan and then his ccs.
good months feb and march as no council tax to pay. yay.“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

when we took mortgage in may they made us pay off two cheap loans but keep their expensive cc so sort of been in limbo since dh has been padding although he didnt realise it lol .my frugal living is making a massive difference and if kids want mcd i dont so that helps both diet and purse going to list 7 items every saturday and really do think i need to go do extra shifts if i keep saying it it will happen lolSo finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0
