I have applied to taste radar a few times and never heard anything back. It must be at least 10 days since I last tried. Has anyone else had this happen?

    Hi Jo,
I have applied twice but never heard anything back. I thought maybe it was because I don't have any children in the household
    Jan £10 a day £326.75/£310
  • Hi All

With regards to the survey sites etc do they abuse or sell on your personal information etc? I would really like to join some of these but i dont want to end up with endless amounts of junk mail coming through my door or sales calls.

Also, how large are the surveys? Are they worth the money you get for completing them?

Many thanks for all your help.

I havent joined any of the sites yet so pm me for my email if you would like to recommend me so that you get a reward.

    Thanks :-)
  • I'm a newbie, so will sit back and see how you all get on first and then maybe join in with this one next year! :)

    Good luck everyone!!! :)

Do you have to know what carat it is before you can send it off, not sure I would know how to

I'm not sure, I believe that there is a thread on here from Hatton Garden Metals, it may be worth taking a look.

some of the surveys can be quite long but once you get used to them they are not too bad.

    Hi Rose and Jo
Shame you didn't get selected. I can't imagine why - I don't have children so it can't be that. I guess it's sometimes just the numbers.

I could always email them and recommend you. They always seem so friendly to me. If you would like me to mention you just PM me with your name and email and I'll pass it on. :j

All the best all the newbies - lots of idea on here.

    Couple of things to report
£5 from Halitax - interest on some other money £6.12 - sold a book on Amazing £5 and a friend paid me back 50 squid.

Also NSD for me and sandwich lunch for OH so all doing well.

Got a slow cooker for Christmas and cooked a massive Spag bol tonight - worked really well. Might be a money saving idea.

That target of 11k seems a long way off but you never know.

Take care and think before you spend!
