Third week and the income is slowing down...
Anyway, this week:
£7.70 from selling old phones
£79.50 from cutting back on my cable TV services
Means I'm up to £696.51 in total...
Got a few quid from mystery shops to come in as well as a fair old chink from Topcashback.
Thanks to fruittea for posting the Taste Radar link. Have signed up and will see how that goes!0 -
Quiet tonight...everyone must have the Friday feeling and be out getting boozy! Bed soon for me, up early for a half 7 start as usual, time and a half all day, another £115 for the challenge! At the current total i have in from this month, multiplied by 12 i will have £7,250 or so in at the end of the year! Not a figure i would turn my nose up at as iv never had anything like that before, even though my car cost near that! Im really going all out to get the £11k! Will be making megabucks this summer on 7 day weeks. Maybe work 13 days and have a Sunday off. Id manage that as i have done it before. I love my work.Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

minnie i thought that last year and ended up saving and making £5500 . the thing is thats there is no right way to do it ,and i coverted my oh to quidco who now tells ev1 about it he currently has £450 in an account due to this lol .it took me a while to find my feet last year and although i bought stuff from ebay i never tried selling ,dont know if i'm happy with selling fees might just stick to bootys but then its table and petrol oh says i must do it properly this year and is not half as scathing about my virtual pals we all found our niche and for some they just found themselves but the dribblers are a happy bunch .think they are trying not to dribble too much at the minute to let the newbies settle in . hope this helps xMinnie I wasn't sure what to do last year or how but I ended up about halfway there. Still not sure how.lol
This year is different again and I am still not sure what or how but its funny how things crop up either on the thread or in real life and give you a new avenue or idea.
Don't worry too much if you are not sure where to go next but be open and ready to go when new ideas pop up that make sense to you.

Any ideas why I seem unable to get more than a blank page on briefing notes on GFK? There is a job on there that I think I would be interested in doing but can't read the details. My pc has been doing all sorts of weird things the last few days so I am assuming the probem is at my end but don't know how to fix it. Also want to join other MS sites but am reluctant to at the moment cos of the way my pc is.

Also my bank is Lloyds and if you cll then up they are happy to remove 1 bank charge per year as a gesture of their generosity!!!!! Haha. So it's worth calling the bank and asking nicely. It's at their discretion tho so be nice, and good luck x
Thhank you for that! Any suggestions as to the best approach, pretty sure "hi, I have heard you can refund a bank charge at your discretion so please can you refund mine?". Is the best approach lol!I have applied to taste radar a few times and never heard anything back. It must be at least 10 days since I last tried. Has anyone else had this happen?
Jo x
I have tried too, and have never heard back
. I am surprised they don't even send an automated email to say thank you for your interest we will be in touch if your application has been successful type email.Hi Rose and Jo
Shame you didn't get selected. I can't imagine why - I don't have children so it can't be that. I guess it's sometimes just the numbers.
I could always email them and recommend you. They always seem so friendly to me. If you would like me to mention you just PM me with your name and email and I'll pass it on. :j
All the best all the newbies - lots of idea on here.
Couple of things to report
£5 from Halitax - interest on some other money £6.12 - sold a book on Amazing £5 and a friend paid me back 50 squid.
Also NSD for me and sandwich lunch for OH so all doing well.
Got a slow cooker for Christmas and cooked a massive Spag bol tonight - worked really well. Might be a money saving idea.
That target of 11k seems a long way off but you never know.
Take care and think before you spend!
I love my slow cooker, great for batch cooking which menses cheaper and easier meals . there is a great thread on the old style forum with lots of slow cooker recipes.Life is a work in progress0 -
Nixi,
I would just ring and say you don't normally go over your limit. That it was due to an unusual oversight on your part and is there anyway they can remove the charge.
or something like that. but not whilst drinking black russians!!

Long Tall Sally - it seems to be working for me but that doesn't mean there isn't an issue with that one particular briefing notes file. sorry can't be more help.
