The differences between powedered milk, from the co. that create Aptamil and C&G.

I used C&G with all 3 of mine. They're 14, 13 and 21 months old.
The only time they had runny nappies was when they were either unwell (as your baby is so that is probably why), or when they'd eaten something different/something that didn't agree with them.
I actually found their poos were a little looser when they started weaning, and not necassarily not more solid because of the solids.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Now, I would like to ask if anyone can help with solving the problem of diahorrea (Sp?) infected babies.
My son is mostly breast-fed, but recently we have been told by doctor's that we must change to formula milk. The fact that my wife's milk supply can be severely affected when she has a cold also means that formula is at the required stage.
We have been using Cow & Gate, and we have noticed that recently his poos have been runnier, although we don't believe it's his milk as he has been a bit unwell.
However, someone else I know says that their baby has had the watery poos since when she started using C&G. She now wants to try Aptamil.
I am wondering if it's the milk, and I'm also wondering/wanting to know if your baby's poos have become runnier since moving them through the babyfgood jar/solid stages.
Can you help me please?
Thankyou.
Squeak has really really loose poo from Aptamil comfort. They are also green!
Has your wife bought the 'comfort' or sensitive stomach version of C&G as has been pointed out they are similar?Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I returned to teaching last year while DD was still being BF. In addition to BF she'd been having formula daily as I struggled to keep up. I tried to express before work as like OP I felt it would be difficult to express in a stress-free way (too many time pressures). This prolonged the number of days I could BF (I seem to dry up under stress though :rotfl:). I was very lucky that DD was happy with whatever formula was cheapest - I knew she was getting BF so wasn't too worried about brands.
The way I saw it everyday you can BF is a bonus to the child (even if it's just one feed). Well done OP :T:T:TMaking small changes everyday....0
