It worked, that is the light came up when i plugged it downstairs.

The main issue NOW remains the RF/cable/signal stuff.

I am currently checking up the cables in the garden.

    Thanks everyone.

Make sure that there is a good connection between both inner cores and both braided outer cores at every join, with no stray wires bridging between the inner and outer.

    Hi there

We have a cheap av sender (tescos own £25 ish) It sends the signal from our sky box, to a receiver connected to our tv upstairs via the tvs scart socket. Whilst the picture quality is not perfect it is certainly watchable.

    Hope this helps

Now discovered that the junction( that supplies antenna) only does so to living room and the spare room. There was an independent Antenna for the room i intend to send signal to.

So there's no connection whatsoever between living room( the source) and the upstairs room.

    Cheers!

You have two aerials? Are they close together? You could still perhaps link your cables.

  • So so mess, i think i'll give up.

    1) The antennas are far apart.
    2) I traced the cables and then discover that 3 different cables entered room upstairs.

I wouldnt mind a cheap video sender at this time.

Thanks everyone who has help so far.
