  • You need to pm the Board Guide for the board you started the thread on or alternatively email abuse at the address given in my signature.

    Hope this helps.

Tony I thought this didn't work with the first original post?

The only option to delete a first post is to get a board guide or abcon to do it, afaik.

Tony managed it - I can still see the thread he deleted 'cause he did it on This Site:Questions and Suggestions where I'm a guide.

They may have changed it. Don't think you could do it before - or perhapse there's a time limit because I'm sure I've tried before and failed

Wirm posted on the thread as well and it still let him delete the whole lot

does this mean that an OP can delete a whole thread just by deleting their 1st post

I went to the oldest thread I started on this forum and clicked edit on the first post

To delete this message, check the appropriate option below and then click the 'Delete this Message' button.
Note: deleting this message will result in the deletion of the entire thread because this is the first post in the thread.

so I'm assuming so - unless it's a board guide thing (though the thread I went to wasn't on the board I'm a guide for)
