Spotted this on Amazon, it looks like a good xmas gift to me! It doesn't come with a memory card so you will have to price one of those into the cost or use one that you have already but it seems a reasonable xmas gift for the grandparents to have already loaded with photos of the grand-kids!!

Anyone think this is good, or just a bit gimmiky? :confused:

    Yes. I suppose it would crop the images at the top or bottom.

    It also has a very low resolution 480 x 234 - around half that of the Philips one - 800 x 480 (although it is a lot less than £129 - PC World?)

    I have the Philips one and it is very good.

    how the hell do these things work? mains/battery etc?

    you leave a card in them all the time and you can have like a slideshow?

    i have some research to do now i guess :D
