Not being rude intentionally or anything, but maybe if you reaction to the dress making class is a shrug it is because you want to decrease your size before you start making wonderful individual clothes?

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

self image is difficult to deal with, in my head I look like a podgy version of the dwarf from lord of the rings although he has better hair...........................! I wonder if thats what you saw.

thank you, you're all very kind.

I think Chev has it right i'd like to be smaller before i invest in making lovely clothes for myself. That's something which is going around in my head at the moment TBH

Pippi, you are NOT the dwarf from the lord of the rings, you were lovely when we met, and you have lovely hair! and more than anything you are a lovely person.

i'm lucky i already have a piano so i really do need to learn so that i can make the most of it, and when (i'm going to start being positive about the house etc) we get our new house we'll have space for it finally.

    MSE things done today:
defrosted todays dinner and thinking about what to do for tomorrow so that can be defrosting, think i may get it sorted for the slow cooker so it can cook through cheap leccy.
two loads of washing done (one on cheap leccy), outside to dry, keeping my fingers crossed that the spitting doesn't come to anything and it can actually get dry
just cut Mr LT's hair saving about £7
going to colour my hair today saving about £30 at least, i've got the hair colour in stock so no expense there.
continue filling holes in various places ready to be painted
put up the lovely cream shower curtain we bought in home bargains for £2.50 yesterday, makes a big difference and looks lovely and i don't mind leaving it behind when we sell.
going to have to staple gun some cream fabric (bought for something else that i never did) to the headboard to cover where Mr LT tried to clean his side of the headboard and made it look much worse, to make it look all lovely again.

had a nice day off with Mr LT today, not sure where it went to.
Read my book whilst he caught up with some sleep.
Did the bits in the bathroom that have been doing my head in, chopped back the lavender hedge in front, coloured my hair (Mr LT did it for me but i could feel myself getting more and more worked up so i think i'll continue colouring it myself in future and if i happen to colour the bathroom as well then so be it! lol
covered the headboard which looks fab, so glad we did it, it was so simple with a staple gun, looks perfect and saved me over £100 for a new one which once upon a time i would have just gone out and bought.
picked up a spice rack and jars from the Sense charity shop which is just perfect and quite a few of my current spice pots will fit into it which is exactly what i wanted for my new kitchen
Got to find the kitchen before i go to bed and make tomorrow's sarni's.
I'm not sure i like this house selling lark - all i feel that i've done since it's been on the market is tidy up which isn't fun.
  • Glad you had a nice day, well done on the savings!

On the postive side of the house tidying, you might sell it quick, so think of that and what kind of hourly rate you'd earn from just tidying if it sold :)
